They do a good job of switching between the two as the plays unfold or showing you one then highlights from the other. It must be a crazy place to work.

I was a sunday ticket with superfan for the last 2 years... couldnt afford it this year, and directv was in no mood to negotiate with me... they didnt even offer me ST at a discount...

DirecTV...RedZone in HD ROCKS. It has totally changed the way I watch Football.
I pay for the Season Ticket almost exclusively for this one channel.

I pay an extra $5 a month to get the channel through comcast. Not bad and i end up watching it on sunday more than any other game that is on. If only it was in HD!!!! Im in florida and so far just SD here

That's weird. I live in Boston and I just checked the guide. 899 is NFL Red Zone HD. I watched it last Sunday and the Sunday before (that's when we switched to Comcast). I can confirm its HD glory.

I had ST for 4 years. I canceled it during the summer. I found a thread on Slick Deals about how to get ST and Superfan for free from DirecTV as well as upgrade to full premium package. I pay LESS than I did for MORE regular channels (all movie channels now) +ST/Superfan.

I don't know "why" they were running the promotion, but you can find it on Slick Deals.
