Burrow is for real and so are the Bengals .... been awhile since I watched them and I'm impressed.
I guess Burrow pressed for them to get Chase and they did, over 200yds receiving today. No one was expecting the Bengal's defense to be this good though, Le'Von Bell had 5 carries for 5yds LOL.

Pre-season doesn't mean much far as win/loss goes?

(also WFT and the NFC East with the possible exception of the Cowboys is not good.)
Here's everyone's friendly reminder about preseason: The 0-16 2008 Lions and 0-16 2017 Browns were a combined 8-0 in the preseason

How about Joe Borrow and the Bengals?
It's going to be fun.. until Burrow gets another unfortunate injury and guys that probably could and should have been kept are just let go. Once upon a time, Carson Palmer was their franchise.

And...
they don't have an indoor practice facility.

I think it is dumb to call the same play twice...but QB sneaks can be unblockable depending on the strength of the personnel.

And the way Allen was standing looked like he wanted to take a dump right there on the field....kind of led to his "slip"...more potty training for Josh.

(I love seeing Buffalo teams fail too, mainly because giraffe neck Tyler Myers cross-checked Michael Cammalleri one to many times).

IDK.... I watched most of the second half of that game today and both the Bengals lines were dominant at points. (and Baltimore is no pushover on either side of the ball)

Pretty sure Jackson has some competition for the division on his hands.

I was talking more about future years. This year, the division is wide open for the taking.

Wait.... wat?

No indoor practice facility in Cincinnati?!? (brrrr!!) Don't they at least have one of those heated inflatable domes over a field they can use?
It's a meme. Any sports video with the Bengals as the subject...you can count on the Youtube comments to mention that.

They sometimes practice at the University of Cincinnati's facilities, which I think is an inflatable bubble.

Apparently they do have something...looks pretty small though

so why don't more punt returners 'accidentally' kick the ball into the endzone so it becomes a touchback? I am still not 100% understanding that explanation of the rule they gave...

Wouldn't that be a muff and safety?

not according to what the refs ruled after that play...

so the returner kicked the ball into end zone, recovered it and tried to run it out...he got tackled in the end zone...I am still confused by that ruling...hoping someone can explain it...

What game and quarter are you talking about. I'm curious and will look up the play.

I await the results of your research.... I would think the play described would result in a safety and loss of possession myself. (Not sure what happens if it gets kicked out the back of the end-zone by the receiving team either)

I'm not a Rams fan but I would love to see Stafford and the Rams win it all this year if my team (Vikings) is eliminated. Also really surprised by Mahomes' poor play this year.

Nobody has told me what game or quarter yet...I need to know who was playing and approximately what point in the game to start looking for the play in question.

It was the Sunday game last night...play happend halfway though the 2nd quarter.

I found this:

basically, this means that punt returners need to practice kicking the ball into end zone so it looks accidental...I assume if it is an accidental kick out of the end zone, it would be a touch back as well...

The explanation in that article makes no sense IMO .... I've seen the near-identical play called a safety more than once. (fumbled out the back of the end-zone)

As a Niners fan I'm completely over the current regime of coaching and to a lesser extend their drafting.

Well....Tom Brady did ask and Kyle said no.
(Or so goes the pop narrative)
There is that, but the play calling on the field is shit. Just back to the SB vs. KC, 2nd half the playing devolved to some rudimentary predictable garbage. Similar when he was with the Falcons, the play calling for what was needed was brain dead.

It seems to me that the 49ers should be a lot better/successful then they are.... only the defense plays up to any kind of expectations.

It also seems to me that (once again) Belichick was right about a QB's prospects when he passed on Garoppolo starting despite what all us "experts" thought at the time.

HOWEVER the biggest problem SF has BY FAR is the rest of their division!

How did he pass? Bill wanted Jimmy, but Tom went to Kraft and bitched about it. Pats were rumored to have 1st round offers for him on the table, but Bill wanted him to succeed and not send to a crap team and he liked Kyle so he gave him up for a 2nd rounder.
