Great opening game, I had no dog in this race but it sure seemed the ref's called everything tight against Dallas but let that HUGE pushoff against TB go uncalled. Need more consistency, if your gonna call a tight game you can't not do so on a play that had a huge impact in the outcome.

Brady is still amazing and does not need any help from the Ref's, him and Gronk are on another level as to understanding what the other is going to do on any given play, guess 10 years of playing together will do that!.

Fucking Giants. I can't even blame Danny Dimes that much. The running game did jack shit and the defense let Denver control the clock. The O-line didn't even have to block Chubb, who was out, and I understand that Barkely doesn't have the best O-Line, but he is just not that good. He dances too much, is not decisive.

The Matt Stafford thing is weird.

It's like, think about the St Louis Rams in 99, when they brought in this aged rookie named Kurt Warner with a decade+ of experience playing Canadian Football, and instantly becoming a serious HOFer, with a great offensive system and NFL veterans and sterling rookies (The Great Torry Holt, of course).

Anyway, that's exactly what Stafford is right now with the ~same Rams team and mindset except that instead of hanging out in the CFL for a decade+, Stafford has been playing for the Lions, which, a few steps above the CFL, is "basically the NFL."

Could be a fun year for them.
