Rumor is Wentz is done for the season with a torn ACL.
Yea, it looked really bad, he got the "sandwich" deal as he scored that TD. Fan's will legitimately ask WTF? since that is exactly what Blount did 19 times last year for the Patriots, why risk your MVP QB when you have guys to do the dirty work. I know he's a big, tough, young QB but at the end of the day QB's that run a lot get injured a lot.

There's a vid on twitter of him in the tunnel walking into the locker room and his right knee is doing things no intact right knee would be doing.
After seeing the massive hit he took I'm not surprised. Sucks, I like to watch this guy play, great talent and great competitor.

Was that the fans on the field tossing around in the snow after the OT win?, Jesus that was a horrible condition to play anything in, I saw Adam V's extra point take a left hook but somehow manage to squeak past the uprights!.

Yep. Sportscasters in the press box could only see like 20 yards of the field through the blizzard, the other 80 were lost. Look at the depth of the snow in the middle of the field in the middle of the game after it had been cleared to start the game.

So much for this being the year for Philly. Unfortunately, I don't think Foles is a playoff contender. Would be happy to be wrong, though.

Foles isn't that bad, but he's relatively immobile. He'll stand in there, he's no pussy, but he's not that big and goes down fast. With Jason Peters out for the season on his blind side, this is a recipe for disaster.

OMFG that is NUTS!, that has to be a record for worst possible game conditions.

I wonder if that was a designed QB run or Wentz saw nobody open and just took off. Many in Philly will rightfully be asking why your not using Blount in that type of situation if it's the later.

Yep. I just think the playbook gets trimmed pretty heavily given his lack of mobility. Additionally, he just can't extend plays.

Man, the Steelers are just going to keep winning with these last second field goals.

I'm sorry to all you open air cold weather fans but that is just fucking retarded. Skill should be the determining outcome of professional football games, not who can run/throw/catch better in a friggen foot+ of snow. I honestly don't think the NFL should allow ANY Superbowl to be played in an open air stadium, let the skill on the field be the deciding factor not the weather.

It did not look like a designed run to me.

Was sorry to see the Hawks go down to classless Jacksonville's level. Refs were letting stuff go the whole game, and this is often what happens when they do. Fans yelling "n!&&*r" at players while throwing drinks was a nice touch.

Sorry, that's Seattle's rep, they earned that at the end of SB 49. Clearly angry, (and rightfully so), at a bad idea by the coaching staff to enable Butler to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, they retaliated against the Pat's who were running out the clock. Similarly, they did get hosed on the non-call of obvious PI on the 4th down play, it wasn't even close, the Seattle receiver was grabbed at his ankle and taken down. The now frustrated Hawk's then turned what should have been 2 snaps to kill the clock and end the game into a debacle. Bennett rolled right into an O-lineman's knee's and on the next snap more trouble punches were thrown. As for the as*hole fans that started throwing beer/food at Jefferson IMO security ought to grab those people responsible and bring them down on the field. "Here you go, you have an issue, now you can sort it out", I'd LOL as said fan gets his as* handed to him in a heartbeat. Cowardly, total dick move for any fan from any venue to hurl drinks/food at someone knowing security will prevent them from getting the as*-whopping they completely deserve. Hopefully, they can be identified through cameras and be banned from any NFL venue for life + pay a steep fine.

Imagine that, Seahacks playing dirty again. Bennett acting like a piece of shit again. No surprise there at all.

That being said, those fans should lose the ability to come to a game for a year, or forever for tossing trash at the ejected player. Wouldn't even mind assault charges being put on them, because technically it is. Also, zero proof that the n word was used. Most of the fans there were black too. According to some people around here, that means the word is fair game.

Seahawk players acting a fool and drunk fans screaming racist things. Nothing is new under the sun.

Patriots are looking a bit lost in Miami, now down 13-7 3:20 left in the 1st half, some good coaching by the Dolphins using many new set's.

Brady doesn't appear to be himself tonite.
He's missed some throws, but really the Dolphins have been barking at his heels all game long, the defense has missed open tackles, ect, ect. They have never played well in Miami, going into tonight Brady is 8/9 and it looks to end badly barring a total collapse by the Dolphins and I don't see that happening.

He has always had trouble against a good interior pass rush. I don't personally think age has anything to do with it.
No, not at all, if anything he's gotten better at sliding around, buying time, but last night nobody was getting open, the Dolphins were aggressive with coverage and only one flag got tossed. Can't blame 'em, if the Ref's are not going to call PI you keep pushing the contact until they do. Missing Gronk hurt's in many ways, he's a great blocker but also draws a crowd when he turn upfield into a route, this give others better chances to get open easier.
