nforce---will it use ddr ram (should i buy now from crucial)

will the nforce 128 bit architecture acelerate the ddr ram of today? or do you think that the release of the board will either drive ram cheaper (lol) or create a new type of ram?

I bought 2 sticks of 256MB PC2100 a week or two ago just for this purpose. Can't wait for nForce to come out. Still using a Slot-A 700MHz w/ a TNT2U. Integrated stuff on the nForce is a step up all around for me.

It will use DDR ram...so what crucial has now will be A-ok. Buut...there's no telling what will happen to RAM prices. If you're happy with the prices now...it couldnt hurt to get some. Or, if you wanna wait for some CAS2 DDR or you think the prices will come down some more...wait

yeah it will use ddr ram, whether you should buy now, i don't know, but personally i am waiting.

i came so close to buying two 256MB sticks of 2100 DDR today from CRUCIAL. thought id be able to use Paypal at their site, but it wasnt going to be easy. the online tech rep said its been done, but then it was "have a nice day"... so. ill wait and hope that prices will continue to drop.

CANT WAIT! for the nFORCE boards to come out! i keep looking everywhere for some insider info but always come up with the same stuff...
