Nforce2 Audio... 4.1 and Line-in?

I'm thinking about making the upgrade to a new Nforce2 MB. Most likely the Epox 8RDA+

I'm currently using a Soundblaster Live! card. Not an audigy or A2. I'm interested in giving the integrated sound on the Nforce2 board a shot since I've heard that it is equal to or better in quality than my current Live!.

My question was this. Can I use the integrated sound for a 4.1 setup and still have a line-in for my TV Tuner card? Or am I stuck with 2.1 to do that?

Not sure with a 4.1 but with a 5.1 you can use the mic in input. Be sure to adjust the input levels down to prevent clipping. I had to give up the onboard sound on my Abit NF7-S due to the lack of a gameport header and use a Herc Fortissimo 3 which is easier to hook up as the colored speaker leads plug into matching color jacks on the SC. The colored leads would not match up correctly on the motherboard jacks taking experimentation to get the proper 5.1 sound from the speakers.
