nForce4 or Crossfire

OK, need to order this quickly. What's the very best, price not a major consideration, 939 motherboard to pair with an x1900xt. Crossfire would be a nice option, but it seems like maybe an nForce4 would be more mature at this point. Asus A8R MVP is out of the question because for now it will paired with a newcastle a64.

Good overclocking, lots of SATA, reasonable USB, and dual ethernet would all be nice.

DFI Ultra-D...just got mine today, my x1900xt should be here on friday. It's one of the best clockers out there, dual gigabit ethernet, 4 SATA II connectors, etc., etc. a badass board all around.

Thanks, that's what I ended up going with. Whole package of DFI motherboard, x1900xt and 2GB RAM should be here on Monday. Any idea if SATA 1/2 don't lock like on my now deceased MSI nForce3 Neo2?

he means are the bus speeds locked.
On nF3 only SATA3 & 4 locked, 1&2 increased as you increased HTT which was bad news especially as SATA hard drives are less tolerant of out of spec. bus than PATA drives.

Good to hear about the locking, I actually had to buy a PCI SATA controller and put 2 drives on it to use 4 hard drives total with the Neo2, which I always thought was really irritating.
