I'm still looking at colleges (procrastinating again). I need to start applying really soon, but it's hard to decide what colleges are good from statisics. I kind of want to go to college in California (at least I'm going to apply so I have options), but there are lots of colleges there and I'm not really familiar with the cities/colleges. If anyone has suggestings, then please let me know. I would like to know anything that seems important (area, things to do, people, prices). Thanks a lot.

Yeah, we need more info.

Private vs. Public. Are you instate? Major? Sports interest? etc.

USC is nice.

Rather small campus and quite easy to get around.

Can't say much for the surrounding area though. But, it's not TOO bad. . .

Sorry about that, here's more info. I live in Kansas City, Missouri. So far I'm kind of undecided on majors. My top major choices for now are, accounting, psychology, computer science/engineering. I want a public college unless there is any particular private colleges that stand out. I don't have any sport interests.

I'm from Tulsa, OK and am attending UCLA. Just so you know if you plan on attending any of of the UCs you will be paying major out of state fees. every quarter i pay 5000+ in tuition alone (there are 3 quarters a year) vs. instate students who pay about 1000 bucks a quarter. If money is no object than I'd recommend UCLA. I majored in EECE which is pretty much similar to CS&E and my GE cluster was psychology so i've taken several classes in that as well as working in a few psych labs. It's been fun! I love the surrounding area as well....tons of things to do..great weather. i can't really complain!
