Well there are people out there that actually want a professional round cable, not some homemade piece of crap with ugly cut out wires with electric tape around it. that looks pretty damn tacky if you ask me.

some ppl just have money to burn burn burn. unfortunatly im not one of em. but homemade roundcable is as good as those professional (lol, professional?) cables and im my opinion, they dont look that bad either. Ive used thin wires instead of tape and i cut 4 wires and stacked it so it looks neat.

Did you guys / gals ever think about TIME? It takes time to round your own cables, plus if you slice one wire, you are screwed.

Took me 10 minutes to cut and wrap my own. And they work fine and provide great airflow inside my case.

And all of you forget the only reasons why the round ide cable was made in the first place. Improved air flow in your case...
And this is a good deal for round ide cables, Ive screwed up three already and thats all money wasted now.

derrr... round ata66/100..... wasn't there issues of crosstalk? and them wires are pretty flackin thin... i wouldn't want to round em myself (it'd be a patience thing that i don't have ).. then again, i wouldn't pay $15 either.

and i'd like to know where you can buy ata66 for a buck.. cause that's irrelavant if it ain't.

I just think rounding your own cables is too much of a risk and it will never look as nice as these cables, I don't care how much you tell me yours look nice. I can understand trying to cut an ATA33 cable, but the 66/100's are way too risky since they have so many thing wires its very easy to slice em and then the whole cable is useless and you have to go out and buy another.

If they're doing 80 conductor cables (ATA100) for 15 bucks
like I read, that is "not" a bad deal, cuz the places I've
seen don't sell those for a "buck"

gonna be a highly replaced item in
the future, so go fer it, buy a couple
have a professional looking solution
and let the people doin em make sum
money in the process.

I got mine today and they are sweet. I had been toying with the idea of cutting my own, but just didn't want to screw it up - I'm handy, but a man's got to know his limitations. Anyway, if you're an overclocker/gamer you know that case mods are kinda in now - it reminds me of hotrodding. You buy high performance parts and you want the end result to look kinda cool. I wanted better air flow and they do look good. Just my 2¢.

You think you can round cables that look like that? ATA/66 cables are a BITCH to splice because its 80 wires...not 40...makes it a lot harder...
