LoL. So true...

I recently bought Tomb Raider: Underworld. I'm about half-way through with the campaign. I am actually surprised at how fun it is. The Thailand level is just awesome. For 20 bux, its definitely a bargain.

1602 AD, 1503 AD, 1701 AD, any of those. Very long and very slow relaxing games. The music and pace will put you to sleep. Sorta a cross between Sim City and Civ. Majority of the focus is on managing the economics and development of your new settlement, exploring and mining for resources, and appeasing your ungrateful settlers. They grow at their own pace, so all you can do is supply the things they need and watch.

1701 AD is the newest and properly supports multiplayer, something that was left out of 1503.

Don't play Company of Heroes, every time you hear a sniper shot you'll get a heart rate spike.

Just about anything from Pop Cap Games: Peggle, Bejeweled Twist, Plants vs Zombies, they are all actually good games too.

You forgot Sitting Bull, he is the worse and hard as nails to shake once he declares.

I don't get this thread, I think I've played most games listed and I wouldn't find any of them relaxing. I would have suggested a builder like Sim City, but thinking about that I don't even see how you could consider that game relaxing.

I don't think I would call Dreamfall a relaxing game. Like the stealth sequence where you have to evade the spider bot patrols in that circular hall around the lab. So many ways to get insta-killed in that game. Plus the button mashing combat sequences. Not mention the convoluted storyline sort of leaves your head spinning.

The prequel, Longest Journey, on the other hand, is pretty low stress. IIRC, it was more of a classic adventure game where you can't die.

Well, the whole game felt like it got the console treatment (especially the way you "scan" for hotspots instead of clicking), which is probably due to it being released for XBOX as well. I ended up playing it on the PC using a 360 controller, which worked better than keyboard+mouse. The combat just felt out of place and half-baked either way though.

Sam and max hit the road, Day of the Tentacle...

Braid is amazing, albeit short.

If you have a 360, Castle Crashers is loads of fun with a friend.

How about Master of Orion 2 with DosBOX? Still an AMAZING game that goes as slow as you want it to

edit: or is it DOSBox? hell i dont know! too lazy 4 ze google!

Ive been playing Peggle Nights lots lately, finished the game and doing the bonus levels now, so much fun. There's also Peggle Extreme, Peggle World of Warcraft edition and Peggle Dual Shot on DS if you have a DS as well. Im Peggle crazy atm lol!

Here you go, it's called the chill game of the year, Osmos

Reminds me of the best part of Spore, when you start off life only this one is set to electronic music.

You can get the demo HERE!

World of goo - it's gootastic.
Peggle - freakin addictive and can be frustrating if you have to restart levels [over and over again]
Osmos - /agree - very cool game.
Defense Grid The Awakening -
