auto doesnt matter, she was made to learn to drive standard when she learned to drive. she has never driven either so it doesnt matter just trying to get an idea of the cars in that area. my dad doesnt like the mustang cuz its a "half assed sports car w/ a back seat". i dont think he likes its styling. the s2000 i like its smooth and sporty. im not sure what he thinks of the z though. s2000 isn't offered with an auto. Why does he care if its a half assed sports car if its for his wife? Let her get what she wants. The mustang would be a much more pleasant daily driver anyway.

CAn you not read, he said that she learned to drive on a standard transmission IE - she can drive a stick perfectly well.

my dad wouldnt buy a porsche. its his thing about what his wife buys because he knows the most about cars. he used to sell cars, and we can repair them etc. the s2k really isnt that cramped inside from what i remember while sitting in one at the cleveland auto show. me and my dad were both in it fairly comfy. my dad wouldnt buy a miata trust me, he wants something nice, and fast. i know the beemer isnt in this price range, and i know he would like to keep it well under 40 if not under 30, damn i wish gm had a nice cheaper sports car, maybe the gto will be her next car (gm discount from my grandpa = 15% off) but right now i would suggest the 350z or s2k, just cuz the wrx really isnt that aestechically pleaseing to the adults.

id love for my mom to get a STI but man i just could not see a 40 y.o. woman driving a car on gold rims. a kid, or <40 male i could.
