Nike 32Mb MP3 Player $30

Yup...I can confirm that these headphones suck! Does anyone recommend a good set of headphones that are reasonably priced and portable?

Picked it up today, BB had plenty around (orlando, fl) so anyone still debating, you got some time. This weekend is the preferred customer thingy and you can score another 8 bucks off!

Silly quirk: I have been using WMP to transfer files, and when you delete them it seems to "forget" to delete files, does anyone know why this is?

Yah, rather uncomfy after about 5 minutes of use and sound qual sux. I have some older sony buds, but they can get annoying as well. Gonna look into some behind-the-ear buds and see how those work. Need something for in-the-ear as the ones that are like standard over-the-ear headphones look kinda big and might get a bit uncomfy/hot when working out/running. I'll let ya know if I find anything good.

I flashed mine but don't see the battery indicator. The flash program said I had a successful flash up to v1.55. Any ideas?

I tried flashing a second time and still, although the program indicated another "successfull" update, I don't get a battery indicator. I also noticed that although the update program warns that all data will be lost during the update process, none of my songs got deleted/overwritten during the "successful" update. That seems odd to me.

I got my Sandisk 64MB MMC Card, but now the Nike Audio Program crashes whenever I have it in there (yes it's in the right way).. Any ideas?

Kingston or Vikings 64 meg MMC is not working on the NIKE mp3. DOnt make me explain wht it do with the MMC. I DID EVERYTHING BUT WORK ! Forget it MMC is going back to Dell and i am sticking with the internal 32 meg

barmstrong deal is good thru Saturday. Honestly if you haven't found one by now, ya probably won't. I got one Monday during lunch, went back the next day, and all of em were gone. Not only that, looks like most of their mp3 players were gone, there was a pretty nice rebate on a few others, and the area was just wiped clean.

TK-421 If it doesn't work with the Nike proggy, try using it thru Win Media player instead.

dxtreme did you remove the battery and power down the unit before you inserted the MMC? It should work, as MMC cards are universal spec.

TK-421, Dx-treme, chizow, there is a firmware problem with the Nike psa[play series and "some" MMC cards, even ones previously recommended. The issue will be addressed in the next firmware release. You can go here to get the non-nike version of the Audio Manager software and the latest Windows driver (though it has not been updated ever).

Hmm.. do you have some inside info or something? The last firmware update was 03/16/01, and Sonicblue classifies this as a "Diamond Legacy" product, which to me means it's been EOL'd... It surprises me since this is the exact card they sell on their website, a Sandisk 64MB MMC card..
