You didn't cost them $150. :whiste:

Firstly, I didn't buy it- it was a gift.

Secondly, I personally believe it speaks more to your character to judge without appropriate observation or evidence.

Did I get taken for $150? It depends on what you define as "taken". I find that anything which gets me outside and pushing myself farther is more often than not worth it.

seems if they could add a heart rate monitor they could then include many more activities by conversion of average heart rate to caloric expenditure.

Can't they make something that can measure glucose levels of the blood-->calories burned? This would apply to every sport that this gimmick can't track, like weightlifting/cycling. Someone from ATOT invent this, kthnx.

What about the stores in your muscles? Don't know if the blood levels would be enough to be accurate.

That's an uneducated guess.

i would think heart rate monitor, though less accurate, would be less invasive and cheaper to implement.

Or do both, you can now test glucose levels non-invasively.

Highland, not sure what you could do about glycogen stores except track the explicit angles and iterations of area (upper, lower body), punch in what you did into the app, and have it average statistical baselines relative to the exercise (say, barbell curls). At least that'd be half scientific, unlike Nike's POS.

DO WANT, I want a Nike GPS Sports Watch too, they have so many damn cool workout related products. I <3 my Nike+ for when I'm out jogging/running. One of the coolest things ever imho. And to everyone saying it's just a "more expensive Fitbit" it also functions as a watch. I think it'd make a pretty sick watch, definitely not the norm for one, which I think is a good thing.

Exercise is a waste of time.

My gym cost is $150/year at the University. Think I'll just keep giving it to them.

i'll stick with my cheaper fitbit.

works with android, integrates with myfitnesspal and is smaller and less noticeable.

Wife and I use http://www.fitbit.com/

Edit - Beaten to the punch. We like ours, with an office job it really lets you know just how lazy I was in a day and how much I need to make up after. It's easy to wear and fits in a lot of different spots.
