I'm stupid for providing you with examples in reply to this?

Thank you for your diligence. Now can you answer the question?Dude. You claimed that you had never seen nazis using that particular flag. I simply provided examples from both recent times and back in the 1930s. That apparently triggered the hell out of you. My apologies and hopes for your speedy recovery.

After images of the shoe were posted online, Mr. Kaepernick, a Nike endorser, reached out to company officials saying that he and others felt the Betsy Ross flag is an offensive symbol because of its connection to an era of slavery, the people said. Some users on social media responded to posts about the shoe with similar concerns. Mr. Kaepernick declined to comment.
The design was created in the 1770s to represent the 13 original colonies, though there were many early versions of the America flag, according to the Smithsonian. In 1795, stars were added to reflect the addition of Vermont and Kentucky as states.
In 2016, the superintendent of a Michigan school district apologized after students waved the Betsy Ross flag at a high-school football game, saying that for some it is a symbol of white supremacy and nationalism, according to Mlive.com, a local news outlet. While the flag’s use isn’t widespread, the local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People said at the time that it has been appropriated by some extremist groups opposed to America’s increasing diversity.
I say lets do away with all flags and we adopt the Marilyn Chambers flag! You know the one with the green door on it.....
Dated myself, huh??Damn! To remember that you must be almost as old as me.
The only game I see is by those trying to rationalize a tenuous link. Right wing authoritarians often wrap themselves in nationalist symbols, but that doesn’t make the symbols racist. Why? It has noting to do with what I posted or why I posted it. You guys can play diversion games all you want but you'll do it without my participation.

Ha ha ha ha, look at Doug "Douche" Ducey. The governor of AZ is making the state a safe space for...old flags we don't use anymore that were appropriated by problematic causes by withdrawing incentives for Nike to....make its products in AZ. Economic anxiety caused Trumpism and whatnot.

Agreeing with Glenn, sometimes you just have to!It's an extremely tenuous linkage but substituting a different flag pattern seems like a trivially easy remedy. This to me is sorta like when folks got mad at a professor for using the word "niggardly" in a lecture once because it sounds like another completely different word starting with the same letter - it was sort of a contrived complaint but like this "Betsy Ross" flag it creates no hardship whatsoever to not use the flag/word anymore and everyone is happy.
But Ducey has now suggested a change of heart after Nike said Thursday in a news release that its Nike Air Manufacturing Innovation facility would generate more than 500 full-time jobs and result in an investment of at least $184 million in Goodyear. Hiring "will begin immediately," the company added.
"This is good news for Arizona and for @GoodyearAZGov," Ducey tweeted in response. "500 plus jobs. Over $184 million in capital investment. Arizona is open for business, and we welcome @Nike to our state."
The Arizona Commerce Authority, a public-private economic development agency, also touted the deal.

The Hong Kong protests have really put into focus the true values of these socially responsible corporations.Meh I am not all that impressed with woke corporations myself.

Sacrificing everything Nike? Not only did you pull all of your Houston Rockets merch from Chinese stores, you also pulled all merch designed by any designers that are pro Hong Kong. I guess you are not willing to sacrifice that sweet sweet yuan to believe in freedom for the people of Hong Kong. We see you.... we see Blizzard... and we see the NBA. What we see is perhaps the most repellent form of capitalism in our lifetime.

It's exposes the values of a heck of a lot of business of all kind. Along with pretty much every govt. in the world. But I guess that doesn't make the point that you're after does it.
I guess it's only "both sides" when it's convenient.
Actually that is the point I was making. Glad you agree. It's exposes the values of a heck of a lot of business of all kind. Along with pretty much every govt. in the world. But I guess that doesn't make the point that you're after does it.
