There is a lot of alarmism over the Supreme Court. Democrats didn’t play the long game and it will cost them the judiciary. There was far too much arrogance over inevitability.
Having said that, I don’t see Trump pushing any hard right ideologues to the bench. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are both excellent choices, although I would prefer Trump replace RBG with Garland as a gesture of good will under that scenario. Not going to happen.
Huh? Alito? Gorsuch? Kavanaugh was an attorney during the Clinton impeachment. The court is already decidedly right (corporations are people). How specifically do you define ideologues and what makes Gorsuch and Kavanaugh excellent choices?
