I"d pay another 30 bucks for the 3500 but still a good deal.

It seems Office Depot thinks the 3500 is discontinued, anyone know what is replacing it?

Sorry, typo. Coolpix at Depot was 299 with $50 rebate from Nikon. Then its just using a 15% off coupon. Too bad its discontinued though. I really like Nikon's swivel lens but dont like their bulkier models.

Don't know what's up with Nikon but they don't seem to be stocking many cameras anymore. The 4500 model (the classic swivel but with 4mp) is all but gone from the retail packaging scene. The 3500 is gone too. The SQ is neat, but too expensive for only 3mp's. I will only buy these swivel cameras as they are superb for getting yourself in the picture during vacation shots, without needing to let someone take the picture.

I'm looking for digital cameras that are refurbished and I think maybe the Fuji FinePix 2650 is pretty good? I don't know. From the specs I see the Fuji FinePix does have great zooming and looks good but is the quality better than this camera or the 3500?
I can find the FinePix 2650 refurbished w/ extra stuff, such as a case, NIMH rechargeable batteries, and 1 more thing, for around $130 for the final bid on ebay. However these stores on ebay have poor / terrible ratings on resellerratings and an unsatisfactory rating on bbb.
