Many of the new Socket 1366 boards are EATX to accomodate additional components, particularly the third pair of DIMM slots.
Which ones? I've used the MSI Eclipse and Intel Smackover, and both were normal ATX.
As for the 901, I like the black inner chassis but don't care for the angular looks on top. I see they kept the side panel - I didn't like the fan spot (cut my hand on one of the tabs :| ).
Oops, looks like its only the Asus Rampage Extreme II and EVGA's upcoming X58 Classified (and maybe the Foxconn Blood Rage, can't tell from the pic) that are EATX.
But ya I also prefer the look of the old 900 to the new 902 and 1200. Fan spot isn't great, I wish it was further toward the front, or had another fan or two, but I can see why they kept it where they did. Moving it forward would've obscured the view of the inside more.
I'd say it looks just about perfect though for a GTX 295 if you reversed the flow and had the side fan set to exhaust heat, as its positioned right above the GTX 295's top exhaust vents.

There are actually 3 versions of the 900. One that didn't have the grommets, one with grommets without the holes for cable management which I have, and one with holes and grommets.
3 version? How do I know if mine has the cable management? I know it has the grommeents for the water cooling.
If it has the holes in the motherboard base for wire management and perhaps cable ties on the back. They silently added these features about a year ago after the 1200 was shown at CES, probably due to popular feedback and mods done over in that huge 900 thread on xtremesystems.
