WOW! This is an amazing DVD. I have never seen such a well put-together live performance anywhere, and the dolby digital 5.1 surround mix is stunning...it feels like you're there. For those who don't know, it's a 2 disc set which includes the following songs:

all performed live from their Fragility 2.0 tour. I saw this show in Toronto and watching this DVD is like reliving that experience. This is definitely worth every single penny...everyone go buy this now!

There's also some easter eggs:
-during starf*cker's, hit enter after the "don't you, don't you... f*** you" part. (24:15, but just hit enter repeatedly after the guitars kick back in). this will take you the marylin manson performance of starf*ckers and the beautiful people.
-During Suck @ approx 1:06 , when Trent sings, "now i'm blind" you push up and then enter and you should get to see "Reptile."
-To access The Day the Whole World Went Away: Disc 2 - Right in between Head Like a Hole and Just Like You Imagined @ 16:15 press LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, then UP then ENTER.
-During Head Like a Hole @ 11:19 you push 7 and get the menu that has all the secrets

I used to love NIN. After seeing them at the first Lolapalooza, i thought Trent was a genius. They were my favorite group for years and years. The downward spriral concert at Universal Amphitheatre was one of the best shows I've seen.

I just grew past the "I hate everything / I want to kill myself / I hate god / the world sucks" phase. By the sounds of NIN's latest albums, Trent hasn't.

I went looking for this on Tuesday. Couldn't find the DVD, I saw the CD, but not the double-CD set. Okay, I'm going to take a walk down the street again. I gotta have this.

Trent's band has done everything BUT stay stagnant. Each album has a different, unique feel to it. Just by hearing a song I can identify which album it is from. As for the "I hate everything /I want to kill myself / I hate god / the world sucks", listen to "We're In This Together Now", "Fragile", "La Mer", or "The Great Below". I don't think those lyrics sound so bleak and depressing; do you?

I wish I could buy it. I can't find a good price for it online. Circuit City has it in stores for $24.99, but they didn't get it in. I'm not going to let FYE in the mall rape me for the pleasure of owning it. Luckily I did finally find the two disc CD set at Circuit City for $16.99. They didn't have it on Tuesday, but they had one copy on the shelves today.

I got the DD5.1 version. It was the last copy in the entire mall (which has 3 music/dvd stores!). I've heard mixed responses on the DD vs. DTS. Most DTS zealots will tell you it has better bass, but other unbiased people have said there's literally no difference. Either way, differences are minimal and the DD version sounds amazing. And yes a few of the songs have alternate angle feature.

BTW I paid $34 Canadian for it. The DTS version runs for $8 or $9 more I think, which is really stupid since you actually get less.
