Just checked the rebate site again @ Nintendo, offer is extended to December 15th....

do u think nintendo will void their rebate if i do this?

i dont think it would say "FREE 20$ gift card" on the receipt would it?

might also pickup a 24" Sony Wega TV to compliment this Platinum Cube

not to mention the beautiful graphics on Metroid !

Due to problems with Circuit City, I didn't get the free wavebird deal. Managers at both locations around me gave me a huge hastle. Here is what I did.

EBGames has a deal where you buy a gamecube, 2 games at 39.99 or higher, and one accessory and you get $20 back. All that is required is a copy of the packing slip. Combine that with the rebates and MSN and you can get a killer deal.

Super Smash Mario Brothers
Mortal Kombat
251 Memory Card
$319.95 with free 2 day shipping (details on their website to get this).

-$25 for the system rebate
-$15 for the games rebate ($5 per game)
-$20 EBGames rebate
-$63.99 MSN

Total Price = $195.96 with free 2 day shipping and no tax!

Circuit City charges tax here in MI so I am glad I went this route.

It may mention a Package Applied or Promotion Applied to the receipt. Not sure though.

Thats a good deal. I though long and hard about ordering from EB Games before I went to my local Circuit City.

Yes, in fact it says "Package Price" on the receipt. I renewed my receipt from when I bought it during the Metriod Prime launch, and they actually had to give me the $20 gift card when the two items (Metroid Prime and Gamecube) were rung up together. So it says that I paid $129.99 for my Gamecube and $4.99 for Metriod Prime on my receipt. I really wonder if I have a shot at these rebates with that. I already cut out my original UPCs so I guess I'll just take a chance.

Nowhere on the rebate terms does it say that you have to buy the System for 149$ retail price

I just had CC pricematch this with BestBuy (buy a Gamecube and get Rogue Leader free) with a gamecube I had purchased in December (CC Wavebird free, Nintendo rebates, MSN). Got Rogue Leader free (have receipt for .01).

The original receipt was never altered.

i believe circuit city's website has a way to track their own rebates but as for the nintendo ones i dont think its possible
