What's Wallyworld's price protection policy?

I guess you guys haven't seen a post over on FW from a guy at blockbuster who said they got the promo material for GC @ $99, that post was at least a couple of weeks ago. He also wrote that PS2 & XBOX were going to $150. This makes the second confirmation on the GC.

If not mistaken, CC's policy is find a better price and they'll pm no matter the store. Thus, buy at CC and then pm there. Leave the game sealed in case they say something about it. Just tell him to take the game back and give you the $50. Most of the free games right now can be had for less than $50 easy (actually all of them with the BB gamer card).

I'm seriously thinking of just going ahead and buying one at Circuit City, get my free game, then price match the system at the end of the month. At CC, what is the timeframe for the price change?

This is the second confirmation of this rumour. There was a post on ign.com's news saying it would go down to $99 at the end of September.

Why would they be called 128?

I think the Mario 128 is in reference to a demo presented at GC's launch displaying 128 Marios running around frantically in a cube - a design demo for Mario 64 part 2.

How'd you get Metroid for $20?

Blockbuster had several games for sale cheap earlier this year. Metroid Prime was one of them. MechAssault for Xbox, Super Mario Sunshine were some others that I remember from the sale.

If any sees this price in person at the sotre please post ASAP. Also this may force MS and Sony to price cut sooner than they wanted to. I am very interested in the level that used and refurb GC's will dip to....

These will be coming out for sure... they will not scrap something that is completed... The only thing to worry about is what we will see at E3 next year. Companies might not put 2 years into a game for a system that might not be around.

Star Fox 2 comes to mind.

Amazon.com have already lowered the price to $99.99 for the Black and Indigo models.

What do you think would be the best deal for a Gamecube with regards to pricematching and coupons? I am too lazy to look up pricematching policies for amazon competitors.
