Rock on, i might actually get one of those, just hope mario kart 128 and super mario 128 come out to make it seem worthwhile.
Why would they be called 128?

That's what ign.com calls em other than that i have no reasoning, except 128 bit system instead of 64, even though in real life that means nothing.Originally posted by: GermyBoyWhy would they be called 128?Originally posted by: wetcat007 Rock on, i might actually get one of those, just hope mario kart 128 and super mario 128 come out to make it seem worthwhile.
I think the Mario 128 is in reference to a demo presented at GC's launch displaying 128 Marios running around frantically in a cube - a design demo for Mario 64 part 2.Why would they be called 128?

If this is true then its HOT! I can't wait for October! I've been meaning to pick one of these up. I already picked up Resident Evil Zero and Metroid Prime for $20 at BB, and now all I need is the system .

How'd you get Metroid for $20?
Originally posted by: MIDIman I'm seriously thinking of just going ahead and buying one at Circuit City, get my free game, then price match the system at the end of the month. At CC, what is the timeframe for the price change?

Only if sales start picking up my friend......
These will be coming out for sure... they will not scrap something that is completed... The only thing to worry about is what we will see at E3 next year. Companies might not put 2 years into a game for a system that might not be around.

This may happen as early as this coming Sunday.

So this should also mean that the Gameboy SP will drop right? They certainly couldn't have both systems for $99! That's ludicrous!

Why would they, Gameboy Advance SP has no competition.
