Sorry, but none of those game consoles can ever match the power of the GeForce 4 Ti 4600. And plus, game consoles aren't upgradable.

This is the most uneducated thing I've heard. First off, RIGHT NOW, the best graphics available, IMO, belong to the new Resident Evil. Resident Evil can be played on a system that costs $150. A GeForce 4600 costs $315, just for the video card!! Not counting anything else. Then you bring up that you are just stating this without the idea of cost. Well then, the SG workstations can whoop your 4600.

your geforce 4 ti 4600 is upgradable? really? you can pull out the gpu and stick in a geforce 5?
besides there are plenty of Pro-workstations that are faster than your ti4600. also the game CONSOLE costs 135 . pop in the game and play. can your 250$ videoCARD play a game without a motherboard /cpu and rest of the computer?

Isn't the deal from gamestop.com better? $149 for a gamecube, a memory card, and a carrying case w/ free shipping. They also have the new memory cards that hold 251 blocks of data for the same price as the standard mem card $19.99

I was wondering the same thing, but then I went and ordered it from buy.com and got a 64Mb memory card (944 Blocks). My total came to 154.29, I couldn't make up my mind wether I wanted the carrying case or a larger memory card... but I figured 944 BLOCKS was a hell-lota-blocks... so I got it instead. Heheheh

One big reason why I went with this was because my computer recently broke and I love to play games on it... but it was gonna cost like $900 (for the parst that I wanted; mobo, cpu, memory, video), so what the hell.. 900 vs 154... mmm dang tough decision that means I could potentially have ~750 to buy games with LOL... that'll never happen. hehhehe

meanwhile, u can play cs or rtcw online free, the games can also be patched for bugs and such, and these games are alot better than console games in terms of price/performance

Your cable modem service is free? Mine costs $45/mo... Please let us know where you live so I can look into moving.

My refrigerator is so much better than your microwave. The controls on your microwave aren't even upgradable. And I can use my refrigerator for free. Let's face it. Your microwave will never match the power of my white Sanyo refrigerator. In terms of price/performance, my fridge just outdoes your micro. And you can plug it in for free too. Did I mention that you can put magnets on it?

helyes,

where do you find free shipping at gamestop.com, seems that gamestop doesn't charge tax to CA residents, it will be a better deal than buy.com if there is free shipping

I like both console and PC games at times, but I tend to like console games more, because you just sit down and play rather than configuring for a long time and constantly obsessing with finding the optimal settings while trying to remember the 50 keys the game uses. It's just simpler with the consoles.

I guess they took the 2nd day air free shipping off this morning. They also added, this morning, that the memory card is NYKO and not Nintendo's. The NYKO mem. card is $9.99 and the game case is $4.99, so the buy.com deal is better now w/ free shipping.
