Boy, that doesn't look at all clunky...
Not sure why they decided to add a second stick at this point in the game. The N64 and PSP did okay with a single stick. It's doable provided you're creating original content and not making crappy ports of current console games.
Yah, it's not like lack of a second stick has been a big complaint about the 3DS. Maybe developers have been privately complaining to Nintendo about it, but what bothers consumers the most is the lack of games, poor battery life and pointless 3D.
I think Nintendo is better off coming out with a Nintendo 2DS, dropping the 3D screen but still otherwise maintaining compatibility with the 3DS. If it's going to do something as radical as adding a second stick then it's better off just designing an entirely new handheld and scrapping the 3DS entirely. This second stick add-on for existing 3DS owners is ridiculous.
Yes, it can play MP3s. As for the camera quality, it's poor. They're only 0.3MP (640x480 cameras) so don't expect a great deal out of them.I ordered 2 of em, one for me and the son, and they were just delivered! Anyway, coupla questions: can these play mp3s? How is the quality of the cameras as far as taking 3d pics?

The PSP only has one stick/nub, so if it was a PSP port it wouldn't need a second stick.I remember reading somewhere that the rumor was that Nintendo decided to design the second stick in response to Monster Hunter. Not sure how the controls work, but apparently the port from PSP needed the right analog stick.
Sort of seems plausible. Monster Hunter is hugely popular in Japan.
Yes they can play MP3s.You can record and share music too and they have a number of 3d interactive visualizations as well. There is also limited play list support and random play.
The quality of the cameras is really crappy. However the 3d effect they capture is actually quite good if you have good lighting and the right subject. It's fun to play around with if you don't mind capturing mostly novelty shots. You can also do stupid things like draw on the photos and the like.
How unimpressive...
Really? They all look really good to me. The only one I might not care for is Animal Crossing, and that's only because I'm not used to the franchise. I know a lot of people love that series.
