The design of this cable kind of sucks. I want to plug it directly into my TV and run the audio to my receiver. Now I need to get an RCA coupler along with another RCA cable to extend it BACK to my receiver. GRRR! I liked the Gamecube's setup better where you had the component video separate from the audio.

Great Deal.
I don't want to Hijack this thread, but this is on topic with the quote above:
I would love to see a site do a comparison of quality.
Every time a new console comes out, people always crap on the 3rd party cables saying they are "junk" compared to the name brand ones. I find it hard to believe that the nintendo branded ones could produce a better picture than these 3rd party ones. I have the official Nintendo Gamecube component cables and they don't look like high quality cables at all. Especially compared to the Monster component cables I have for the Xbox (and if you think I paid full price for either of the aformentioned cables you're mistaken). Even the component cables that came with the Xbox 360 look higher quality than the flimsy GC ones.
Anyone seen a comparison? I seem to remember seeing a comparison for the last gen consoles that compared composite, s-video, and component. However, everyone knows component would be the best out of the 3. I'd like to know if 3rd party component cables are really inferior to brand name.

edit: I've ordered 360 games from them before, pretty reliable. Shipping from Hong Kong did not take as long as I thought it would.

I bought the official ones at Nintendo World @ Rockefeller Center also. I couldn't notice much of an improvement, but my TV isn't that great.

I got these also and I don't see a big improvement. Which is wierd because I saw a big difference using component cables on a PS2 with the same TV.
The cables are pretty thin. Maybe they're just not very good quality.

Gamespot Review
there is quite a noticeable difference between the two in the reviews which is why i got them. i did notice Zelda to be a little bit crisper with the component but nothing like OMG but i did notice a slight difference

Haven't managed to find a Wii yet but considering how hard the component cables have been to find I went ahead and order them. Selected the cheapest shipping so only ended up being around 13 bucks which is probably cheaper than I could have found them locally anyway.
The component cables are easy to get, you simply have to order direct from Nintendo at the Nintendo Online Store. The big box stores did not receive any component cables yet and are not scheduled to get any until sometime in January. It took 2 days for me to get mine after I ordered from Nintendo...
