Please post your responses the following questions. You may word it in however you feel necessary and it is not very formal.

1. What games do you play?Lots, favorite at the moment is Punch Out

2. How often do you play? For how long? Few hours a week, would be more but I've got a wife and kid

3. How satisfied are you with the current battery life of a Nintendo Wii Remote?Completely

4. What batteries do you currently use? (NiCD, NiHM, Li-ion, aftermarket pack, etc) Aftermarket battery pack

5. How much did they cost? $30 maybe

6. How much would you pay for a device that would improve the length of the battery
life by reducing the necessity of the battery?0.00

7. How heavy could this device be without impeding enjoyment and gameplay? (assume it is either strapped to the wrist, or attached to the WIi Remote in some form)

8. Do you have any other comments regarding the design or input regarding product requirements?

All results will be sanitized so no user-names will be placed into reports or cited without consent.

All comments, answers are appreciated!

I stoped playing my Wii, but when I first got it I played need for speed alot, for 3-4 hours then it got kinda boring. Battery life on the wii mote is good, but would love it to have a little switch(hold) to disable the buttons from functioning so it does not drain when an item is pushed against it. I used Normal AA battery's from target..ect. How ever much they did cost, I have no idea now lol. It would have to double the batt lenght but still would not pay more, battery lifes good as is now.

anything more then a pound will get annoying after a while and shorten the time I play.

1. What games do you play? Super Smash Bros, Okami, Mario Galaxy, Paper Mario, Metroid Prime, No More Heroes, etc.

2. How often do you play? For how long? 4-6 hours per week

3. How satisfied are you with the current battery life of a Nintendo Wii Remote? Somewhat too short for complete satisfaction but acceptable overall.

4. What batteries do you currently use? (NiCD, NiHM, Li-ion, aftermarket pack, etc) some expensive energizer rechargable

5. How much did they cost? seemed like they were ~$25 for 8 batteries and a charger. They were the last Wii batteries I've had to buy though, so pretty cheap in the long run IMO

6. How much would you pay for a device that would improve the length of the battery
life by reducing the necessity of the battery? probably not very much ~$10 max?

7. How heavy could this device be without impeding enjoyment and gameplay? (assume it is either strapped to the wrist, or attached to the WIi Remote in some form) no more than 2 ounces

8. Do you have any other comments regarding the design or input regarding product requirements? given my general satisfaction with rechargeable batteries this sounds like a product I would not be interested in

All results will be sanitized so no user-names will be placed into reports or cited without consent.

1. What games do you play? Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart GC, Mario Baseball Wii, mario Baseball GC, Punchout, Wii Sports

2. How often do you play? For how long? a few times a month, usually when company is over.

3. How satisfied are you with the current battery life of a Nintendo Wii Remote? Controllers last about 2-3 hours.

4. What batteries do you currently use? (NiCD, NiHM, Li-ion, aftermarket pack, etc)
Mad Catz Rechargables with twin quick charger.

5. How much did they cost? $30.00 for a pair = charger

6. How much would you pay for a device that would improve the length of the battery life by reducing the necessity of the battery? probably none, since I use rechargeable batteries, and we dont do marathon gaming sessions

7. How heavy could this device be without impeding enjoyment and gameplay? (assume it is either strapped to the wrist, or attached to the WIi Remote in some form)
Only if it lenghthened the controller, anything which makes it unbalanced, or thicker, would make it less useful for playing the swining games like bowling or tennis.

8. Do you have any other comments regarding the design or input regarding product requirements? should plug in between the nunchuk and wii mote

PS3 controllers with replacable batteries would be much more useful... at current these devices are "disposable"

1. What games do you play? Guitar Hero / Rock Band, FPSs, lightgun shooters

2. How often do you play? For how long? several times a week, for 2-3 hrs

3. How satisfied are you with the current battery life of a Nintendo Wii Remote? satisfied (usually one set of batteries last several weeks)

4. What batteries do you currently use? (NiCD, NiHM, Li-ion, aftermarket pack, etc) - rechargeable Eneloops (NiMH)

5. How much did they cost? ~$4 a pop

6. How much would you pay for a device that would improve the length of the battery
life by reducing the necessity of the battery? $0 (happy as-is)

7. How heavy could this device be without impeding enjoyment and gameplay? (assume it is either strapped to the wrist, or attached to the WIi Remote in some form) Wiimote is pretty heavy already with the batteries installed, especially if you put it inside a gunshell making it top heavy. For RB/GH, a bit heavier would be ok since you're supporting the instrument with your shoulder

8. Do you have any other comments regarding the design or input regarding product requirements?

1. Brawl, Mario Kart, Mario Galaxy, stuff like that
2. Usually 30-60 minutes, sometimes up to 2 hours
3. I use a rechargeable battery pack and docking station from Niko I think. I am insanely satisfied with it. Not once have I ever ran out of battery juice with my Wiimote since I got the Wii.
5. It was $20-25 if I recall correctly for a docking station +2 recharge packs
6. $0 It's unnecessary

1. Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Big Brain Academy, Game Party
2. A few hours per month if at all
3. No issues since I use a rechargeable battery pack
4. Aftermarket rechargeables
5. $15
6. $0. The $15 rechargeable pack works just fine for me.
7. No more than the weight of two double A batteries if it were something I would consider.
8. No additonal comments.

7. How heavy could this device be without impeding enjoyment and gameplay? (assume it is either strapped to the wrist, or attached to the WIi Remote in some form)

No way would I attach something to my wrist or put anything on the remote.
8. Do you have any other comments regarding the design or input regarding product requirements?

Sorry but it sounds like a silly idea. Would could possibly be better than a wireless charging device.. which already exists.

All I can say is, I have a Wii, and I can't even remember the last time I turned it on.
I liked Mario Galaxy and Mariokart.

I liked Mario Galaxy and Mariokart.

I met up with Josh and bought his Wii off of him last week. Man I didn't realize how crappy the graphics would be...lol This is definitely a last-gen console.

It's kinda fun though.

I bought the Wii, got some of the 1st party blockbuster games. The game I played most was Wii Play bowling. Then sold everything 4 months later. Wasn't for me, I bought into the hype. Same thing with Xbox 360. I like my PS3 though. Guess I'm a Sony fan.
