I know a lot of people call it a Zed, but I have no idea why. Makes no sense to me. I call the 350 a Zee, and I used to call the 300ZX a ZeX or a Fairlady Z. Not sure where Zed came from since it started as far back as the 280ZX and maybe further back

pronouncing z as zed doesn't make much sense to me.

we don't pronounce b as bed, c as sed, d as ded, ged, ped,ted, and ved... so why does it make sense to say zed?
