Looks pretty gay but then this is the company that had the cube with its shag carpeting and starship shuttle circle windows, also a travesty.

This thing looks like a cross between an aztek, fx35, mini, and vw bug. In fact, I'm fairly sure they took pictures of those and ran it through a merging application to come up with this.

EDIT: oh and as mentioned some cayenne.

The main problem is the big circle lights, they are very unappealing. They are in fact so ugly I think you could quite objectively with a study prove that on a visceral level they are unappealing to common human standards of aesthetic beauty. No excuse for them. I like Nissan but the company obviously has some people who need to lose their jobs.

Also, the name is silly. Who here hates these cars that are specifically catered to 20-something single people with their first job? I just find the entire concept patronizing. That demographic and lesbians or single moms with poor credit.

The only thing wrong with it is it looks like it has an extra set of headlights embedded in the hood. Those round front lights look like the main headlights and the slit styles ones way up on the hood just look out of place. Are those big round ones supposed to be fog lights? If so what're the smaller ones down in the bottom of the bumper?

Oh man, the Cube. What a regurgitation that is. It wouldn't be so entirely hideous if it weren't for the non-symetrical rear window on it. It looks like there's no D pillar and the side window wraps around and forms the rear window. I think they just made the pillar black like the window tint, but it looks awful.

Disgraceful in all regards.

People want different designs and then when something a little different shows up people hate it. I think we think we want something unique but in reality we want something that looks 90% like everything else with maybe 10% uniqueness somewhere... but damn it better not be noticeable.

With that being said... I don't mind the design but I'm usually not too harsh on car design. I probably wouldn't own it myself but would have no issue being seen in it.

And in regards to the Cube, it is selling very well in its segment. Some people love it and think the shag carpet is awesome. Different strokes for different folks.

Well I guess that's why it doesn't work for me. I'm not in that cars "segment".

That window just looks wrong on a car though. I mean symmetry is essential to car design. Four wheels, two headlights, 2/4 doors, brake lights. Maybe it's the engineer in me, but it doesn't look right. It doesn't look like a well engineered design. There's a reason you put at least four posts on a roof. Why put four posts and then hide only one? Is it more aesthetically pleasing to hide one post but not the other? My segment just doesn't get it.

Wouldn't look too bad if they removed those upper lights in front and moved them to the side vertically.

i think that was the point of the car, to "break standards" and "push the design envelope" kind of thing. i think they are hideous and worthless, but whatever. i did see a nicely customized one with the license plate "rubix" on it, cracked me up.

the juke will be a joke just like the others.

just looked at the rest of the pics, definitely a weird design. doesnt look too bad besides the front end, but damn its a lot of wasted space on that console. the thing would make me claustrophobic i think, the shoulders are too close to the doors and the other person.

I see way too many of these to be physically possible. I think Nissan uses them as corporate cars or something

it is not THAT terrible a car. or well my apartment complex is probably about 30 cars, and there are 2 of them somehow.

I guess its practical just like the original scion cube car since it seems like no young people would actually buy one (i.e. me and my peers) .

the idea of making cars like the cube to appeal to young people (and especially the scion cars athat are supposed to appeal to teens and early 20s kids) is that most of those people have no money.

and they are practical so old people buy them.. like 50 +

What has me confused is the "part sports car, part SUV". I read the engine options and I just don't see it.

My sister loves the Cube. I can't stand the damn thing.

But this Nissan Juke thing... I'd rather drive an Aztek.

Typical "different for different sakes" Nissan product. The Nissan styling studio in La Jolla is full of liberal esoteric types that have a long history of pushing products that the common US customers shun.

I would guess the majority of these silly little fvcking cars are bought by women. Only the most emasculated male would be seen in one. And I say that as a confident minivan driver.
