New Nissan Primera

Look familiar?? Yep, Audi A6 baby!!!:|

hmph. I don't think it looks like the current A6. Is there a new revision coming out that the Primera looks like? Those wheels are definitely Audi/VW-like though. You know what looks sweet is the new (2002) Altima...if they stick to the artists rendering and offer a V6 model, I might just wait out on buying a new car until fall.

From the windshield back, it is ALL Audi A6 (especially the greehouse/roofline). Even the wheels are Audi and the lower front air damn/bumper area is all A6. Why does everyone have to copy VW/Audi??? Hell, the new Ford Mondeo looks like a VW Passat.

Hehe, but thing is...ALL of those vehicles you mentioned share the same platform (and most body panels) with their &quot;twin&quot;

You're right....that Nissan DOES look like it copied the rear end of the A6 and I say.....WHY??? As much as I love my A4, the styling of the A6 from the mid-section on back leaves a LOT to be desired. Even worse, the 2002 Audi A4 is adopting the same look....why a &quot;mini-A6&quot;?

it looks like an audi/saab hybrid to me. yeah, i think the new sentra is a copy of other cars also.

I don't think that the rear end is copied...but the whole side profile is as well as the front bumper area. Wheels too.

Sorry, couldn't help it...but Chevy and GMC both happen to be part of GM, so why wouldn't their cars look the same?

NFS, just about every new design that comes out has something that looks borrowed. And the one's that are original look like garbage (Cadillac Evoq for example). Which is the lesser of two evils?

I can see a Toyota Echo/Prius in it, but not an A6. A6 isn't that good looking anyway, the old Audi 90 was a better looking car IMHO.

We have to commend nissan for their xterra tho. that is a sweet truck, design wise, not power wise. but yes that car has VW rims on it, hahaha. they can copy the A6, as long as they keep off of the S4.

The new 2002 Altima is gonna be pretty nice. The only thing I don't like is the rear design...looks like an impala.. Check it out here.

The rims and the constantly arching roofline definitely scream Audi/VW but, what do you expect automakers to do when they see the ever increasing popularity of the Audi/VW designs? Their fresh and have some of the lowest drag coefficients in the industry.

Oh, I had the pleasure/displeasure of driving the mom's 2000 Maxima SE...what a motor!!!! But, jesus christ, when is Nissan EVER going to fix that front rotor problem (temporary warping under heavy breaking...and I was definitely getting on this thing) as apparent on the earlier 2nd gen. 300Z's and the current Maxima!:|
