I have a 256k DSL connection..
I host some low traffic (commercial) websites on this and use it for my personal internet connection.
I dont come close to using all this bandwidth by myself So I decided to share my connection with a friend that owns the
little store across the street..
I layed out the law initialy.. NO P2P, NO highbandwidth processes.. Streaming video etc..
I caught him watching tv from his native country.. so I launced the XP network monitor. and he was using
1- 2.5% of the 11mb connection (wireless lan)
Meaning he was using all of my BW. I tried to explain to him he was using to much, I think due to the language barrier and
other things he doesnt understand.
I caught him installing Morpheus and promptly pulled the plug..

In a nut shell what I would like to know is there a some kind of Band Width monitor that works in xp. (on the cheap)
that can run on his desktop. that puts things in plain easy to understand graph.. where 100% is 210k so he can easily monitor
his activity..
or is there a program that will allow me to monitor. and throttle his activity? I am not adverse to building a linux router.
IE FReesco. or LRP if there is a proggy that will allow me to throttle his activity.. or at the least print out his usage
on a graph that I can show him to justify me unplugging him. (NOT that this is my ultimate goal.) It is just that there is
a huge language barrier and pictures speak louder than words/
