nice deal for a big screen EDTV monitor. I actually prefer the ED quality on a big screen over HD when watching movies. Gives you more of that theater feel. Sports? Well that's another question

Great PJ, my brother just got one a week ago and loves it. Native widescreen, can scale HDTV, DVI/VGA/Component/S-Video/Composite input.

There's a guy on eBay who sells ceiling mounts for about $40 shipped, he goes by the name of "kokkoman". I think they're of his own design and they're great; my brother picked one up for his and I got one for my Optoma EzPro 745. If you need a ceiling mount it's a good (and inexpensive) way to go.

Couple of dumb questions:
Could this work with a pc with a hdtv tuner installed?
Could it handle a failrly well lit living room?

Yes @ PC, not sure at well lit living room. Home theater projectors typically have a low lumen (brightness) count since they aren't usually used in lit conditions. This particular model has 850 lumens. The projector I use, an Optoma EzPro 745, has 2300 lumens - it's a light cannon, but then I use it for work doing PowerPoint presentations in various conditions so I require that kind of light output. Just keep in mind that a projector is basically just a flashlight - no matter how powerful your flashlight is, if there's enough ambient light you won't be able to see it.

You can get drapes for your windows that block out the light (often called 'blackout' blinds or drapes) that are thick or darkly colored. You can also build a screen that will help improve daytime performance. Here's a link to a great DIY mix for a projector screen called Black Flame Light Fusion:

It's supposed to help somewhat with daytime performance.
