No ATA 100 Performance!!!

I have a WD 120 GB ATA 100 drive and Sandra 2002 reports its performance at ATA 66. Is there any cause for this?

1) Even ATA 66 exceeds the maximum sustained transfer rate of the WD 120GB drive, ATA 100 adds little to no performance over ATA 66
2) Sandra is a terrible hard drive benchmark. Try something like Winbench 99 2.0 and test the disk transfer rate and access times which should range from 50MB/s-27MB/s and 13.5ms respectively.

Make sure you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers loaded for your system, just to be on the safe side.
