Good thing USC's worst team in about a decade wasn't in the Rose Bowl again or they might have had the privilege of losing to them twice in a year instead of just the usual once.

I'm a UGA fan but normally don't like the Buckeyes because they've sort of laid some eggs against SEC teams in the national championship games. But I can't really talk much seeing as how we continually get blown out by Florida.

I'm happy to see the Big 10 actually put in a decent bowl season. PSU & Wisconsin both had excellent games. NW and Michigan state both put up a heck of a fight against teams that had better records/rankings. And OSU finally snapped out a slump that left them laying goose eggs the last 9 years of bowl seasons.

Now I just need my Hawkeyes to bring it and stay competitive with GaTech.

Yeah, i'm really hoping Iowa can cap off a pretty good bowl season for the big 10. Maybe this year is the turning point for the conference.

I like Iowa against GT. Iowa has a strong front 7, if they stay disciplined they can take advantage of the fact that GT has NO defense and outscore them.

The Big Ten needs a championship game. I think that would alleviate some of the dislike towards Ohio St and their other companions.

As far as Iowa vs GT, I want a good game with GT only winning by 50 or 60.

I think part of the problem with the Big 10 isn't that it's a weak conference. It just hasn't had a juggernaught of a team that transcended the conference like the Texas, Florida, USC, and Oklahoma teams have done in the last decade or so. Those are some of the best teams in the national eye and I think their conferences received a boost because of it.

Iowa nocked off PSU, Wisconsin and took OSU to overtime with a rookie QB in his first start. Those are three pretty good teams right there. But none of them are at the elite level of Texas, Florida or Alabama. Does that make the Big 10 weak?
