:light: No more will mom or dad have to run behind litte Jonny or Jane when they try to learn how to ride a bike. No more major wipeouts for little tikes, unless of course they hit a car or curb at full speed.

Clicky

So now kids won't have the same road rash wounds we did as an ankle-biter. Will this make kids more "wussy" about getting injured? Your thoughts?

Training wheels are for pussies. I learned it on a BMX. Took me 10 minutes. Yeah, I know, should've taken only 5.

I thought this generation of kids have those motorized razor scooters. They are too fat and sluggish to pedal anything. Go McDonalds

First time I learned to bike.. flew straight into a pool where pig farmers drain pig crap into. thank goodness it was drought season so I didn't have to drown in 6 feet of pig crap.

did anyone else think the feeling you get when you first rode a 2-wheeler on your own was a pretty big deal when you were young?

Getting the trainer wheels off and speeding down my street was the greatest feeling.

Felt like I was one of those big biker dudes....atleast until I forgot that brakes were meant to be used.

I would expect this bike to give the same feelings as the first time you road without training wheels, except you never fall over. It's like auto-kickstands. And kids could still slam into something with this bike.

Teaching my kids to ride without training wheels is something that I wouldn't want to give up. I cherished the time I got to spend with my daughter holding her seat and chasing her down the road. No way I am going to give that up with my son for the sake of incorporating this technology.

I learned to ride when I was 6. My problem was learning how to stop. I'd smack into a curb when I wanted to stop.

That's like me and Ice Skating. I can go forward...but in order to stop I usually just slam myself into the plexiglass walls.

As for the bike, cool concept. My wife could use one of them.

The tricycle is not a new invention. This is just a less efficient wobbly-trike. The kid who is caught riding one will get his ass kicked for sure.

I never had any training wheels. My dad pushed me, and I went straight into a tree; not sure if that was intentional or not. :|
