No display on fresh build

I am currently trying to update my media center PC, and got some new hardware as follows:

BIOSTAR NF61S MicroATX Mobo
XFX GeForce 8600GT PCIx16
Corsair 2x1gig PC6400 Memory

Now, I have everything plugged in as it should be, all the cards have been re-seated, along with the CPU. None of the video outputs on it work at all. I tried the 2 on the video card itself, and then the onboard VGA output...none give me any signal. There are no POST warning beeps, and it sounds as if it is booting up as normal. I really don't know what would be causing this, but I can't seem to find a solution.

Also, I tried booting up w/o the video card, just using onboard, and no dice

Any suggestions??

You got the 4-pin ATX12V cable hooked up, right? In this pic :camera: it's the "4-pin CPU power connector."

Yessir, along with the 20+4 pin mainboard connector =/

Hmmm If you use a PS/2-style keyboard and/or mouse, make sure they're in the designated holes, since those are function-specific plugs. Also, double-check that they didn't ship it to you with the Clear-CMOS jumper in the "clear" position.

If that didn't help, and you haven't tried this already, maybe pull the board out of the chassis and bench-test it on cardboard, with just the absolute essential items for a POST, as a fact-finding step? No keyboard, no mouse, no unnecessary cards, no drives, no case wiring (USB, audio, Firewire), and just one memory module. Any good?

Update: Nevermind, after a little investigation, it looks like you can only put 1 gig of memory at a time for it to boot properly. Vista is currently making its way onto my HDDs! Wooo!
