Hello, I have acquired an older HP pc. It has a Pentium 4 3.4, 2.5 GB ram, 640gb hard disk and for free it is a decent system BUT there is no PCI-x slot! looks like it was left off on purpose. It has the el-cheapo GMA 900 built in graphics. I would hate to use the old school 1995 vintage PCI slot for a graphics card. I have heard the HP (and maybe others) have left off the graphics card slot on purpose, why? to save a quarter or just to piss off customers?
