No HDMI

I have a new computer (see below) that I set up the basics using a VGA monitor. Tonight I moved it to it's place which I want to use HDMI. When I first started it up I got the Zotac screen and the W8 splash screen with the circles then it said "No Signal". I've tried two HDMI cables and all 3 inputs on the TV. It still works fine using the VGA input on the TV. I've installed the latest graphics drivers. I'm getting ready to try it on another TV. Any ideas?

What TV? It may not support the resolution your card is defaulting to. Some "1080p" screens can only do 1920x1080@30hz and must use a lower resolution to get 60hz, for instance.

Also I know you've already tried 2 HDMI cables, perhaps a 3rd? Or verify the 2 are working via Bluray player, PS3, HD Receiver, etc.? Maybe also the HDMI ports on the tv, verify those are working properly.

My guess is its outputting to a resolution that isnt supported by default..... Like if you see some type of image first when its loading, then it says no signal, that usually means it cant do the refresh rate or resolution.

Try ruling other stuff out, trying it on another TV might be worth a shot. Or another HDMI cable, etc.

Thanks for the replies..... It worked on another TV. I think the back panel on the PC may have been holding the HDMI cable out a little. Works now!!!!!
