"So this year, from high end Nvidia, we can only expect the overclocked ultra version, according to current plans. 128 MB of RAM can be expected and heavily clocked versions of both memory and GPU."
Is it just me, or does this come across to anyone else as exactly what nV has always done? Actually, the only difference between the GeForce 1 SDR from Q3 '99 and the GF2 Ultra from Q3 '00 was an added texture unit per pixel pipe and clock speed of core and RAM. There was no difference save clock speed and supported RAM between the TNT1 and TNT2, Riva and Riva128ZX was RAM and clock speed also. No new features for a year is the norm with eighteen months occuring once already, is the Inquirer predicting that this is now going to happen for the first time?
