No longer can change monitor placement under Nvidia drivers for dual monitors.

I just replaced my old G80 8800GTS for a very light upgrade 9800GT. I loaded the latest Vista 64bit drivers and then attempted to setup my 2nd display. I found I had to swap my monitor cables to get my secondary monitor to appear on the left side of my main screen. In the past I wouldn't need to change the cables since I could simply drag the monitor under the driver settings where I wanted it to be. Left side , right side, on the top of main screen , etc. Now my monitors 1&2 are fixed in position and no dragging is allowed. I do have it working with my little extra monitor set as monitor 1 and my main 24" set as 2 but then that causes my boot up process to occur on the little 15". If I change my main 24" back to monitor 1 then my secondary position is now on the right side of my monitor which won't work since the monitor is bolted to the wall on the left. So its working but my boot screen is on the wrong monitor and I have no movement/placement adjustments under the Nvidia software driver screen.

So sorry if that was confusing. Did anyone else lose adjustments under Multiple Display area of the latest Nvidia drivers? THink this is a driver issue or new 9800GT issue?

I feel dumb, I figured it out. Under Nvidia Settings I can adjust resolution and if I wanted the monitors seperate or cloned but can not change where the monitors sit in relation to each other.
Now under Vista I just have to go under normal display properties and again in that screen there are the two monitors like in the Nvidia Control Panel but under Display Settings you can actually change the monitor locations. All fixed.

Feel free to delete the post if you like or save it for the next fella that has a brain fart.

OMG you made my life better. Thank you so much for this post. I've been tinkering with this for hours, apparently suffering a long-term brain malfunction. I completely forgot about the Display Settings in Windows, and your post saved me.
