I'm only in the later part of Neptune's Bounty, but no resource issues so far. This is on Hard. Running around maxed out on stuff, currently backtracking through medical to do splicer research. Still fun though. I'm sure there's lots of spiders and other tougher nasties in the later sections.

It runs well on high settings. It's really awesome; definitely the most atmospheric game I've ever played, and the audio work is incredible.

I haven't had a hint of trouble either. Performance has been like butter with maxxed settings as well. And yeah, the voice acting is fabulous. The must have paid the voice guys some nice money, because they took their jobs very seriously!

Minimum fps now rock on my Geforce 8800 GTS at never below 30 fps ever! Even in the heaviest graphic scenes of a lot of people fighting. Wow now Bioshock gameplay rocks! Notice I said gameplay only. Well worth $50!

Last night I had 3 random crashes that reset the machine. I was just running around Neptune's when they happened... It's been running fine so far tonight. Other than that, no problems, no performance issues. I only had to reset my prerender limit to get rid of some mouse lag after I installed the nV drivers.

Well if that starts happening do what I do in the previous link I posted and everything should work even better with no crashes at all, even if you play 24/7 one day, and double the performence!

I wouldn't of believe it either if I hadn't tried it. I don't know how updating a few things can do this because its beyond me.

I ran out regularly until I figured out that I needed to use what I had tacticly. Falling back if needed to change ammo works really well. A righteous use of plasmids will save a lot ammo too.

I wish I had more ammo too, but since I play in hard, that's to be expected. I actually like the tension not having enough ammo brings.

Medical Pavilion can be farmed for resources quite easily once you get the right tonics. It's a lot like thumping the respawning mutants on MedSci deck in SS2.

Research is a very valuable tool

I find it funny that those shiny grenade boxes the nitro guys leave behind, never produce jack... also when you search the BigD's rivet guns nada, nothing....

Anyone elses mouse go super slow after dying and loading a saved game? Drives me nuts.

Does anyone actually use those respawn points? I never have, I find them worthless in any game that has a quick save/load at any point in time..

It seems to happen to me after loading a new zone. It only lasts 5-10 secs, maybe it's intended.

I always save the little girls. Harvesting them seems, well, just wrong.

Well, I was able to fix my sound problem. It was an easy fix because all I had to do was enable EAX even though my system doesn't support it. The sound works fine now and I haven't experienced other issues.

There's supposed to be a different story ending based on whether you save or harvest the girls, so feel free to do each method through a different playthrough

How many do you have to save to get a specific ending, do you know? I've harvested one, but been saving all the others, I wonder if that one that I killed will throw me off.

Sometimes I've found batteries inside the rivet guns.

Seems to be working for me too with EAX enabled with my Audigy 4,I also have sound effects on 10 .
