I think USC has a definite chance to take down Gonzaga. Baylor too if it comes to that.Hoping UCLA can take down UM. Gonna be tough...but if they can pull the upset the upset USC takes down Gonzaga, gonna be USC/UCLA final four which would be a hell of a game.
Now the rubber meets the road, with all three Pac-12 teams as substantial underdogs to advance. The best conference team is USC, but they have a very tough out in Gonzaga. Should/could be an excellent game tomorrow night! I'm still rooting for the Zags to finish with a perfect season, but will settle for an L.A. team advancing further. Watched a few minutes of Baylor flipping the script against Villanova, and that defense looked extremely athletic and good.Pac 12, 12 wins, 2 losses, just one loss to a team not in the Pac 12.
KILLIN' IT!
I think you know your BBall. Agreed, SC is the best, at least right now with the Mobley's playing at high level. Could win tonight. If I see it, it will be in a local bar, don't know if I will muster the will to get there. Otherwise, I'll check the Youtube highlight video. I don't count out UCLA today either. To me UM looks a lot weaker than Baylor. Mitchell's to me the most dynamic player in the tourney. I'm amazed at his power and stamina. Yeah, I grew up in L.A. but I'm rooting for the Zags too. I was going to UCLA when Lew Alcindor ruled the paint there. We passed each other one day in a corridor. He didn't notice me but it was impossible not to spot him!Now the rubber meets the road, with all three Pac-12 teams as substantial underdogs to advance. The NCAA tournament has been streaming online for free for well over a decade at ncaa dot com. Oregon St. didn't bring their A game yesterday.
I didn't see your post until just now, so the SC/Zags game is over. I'm going to watch the Yt ~10min. highlights now. Have no idea who won, etc.The NCAA tournament has been streaming online for free for well over a decade at ncaa dot com. Each time I've watched some action this past week, it says I have a "free preview" for 3 hours. But I get that every time, and the clock hasn't run out yet. The preview is long enough that you can watch the USC/Gonzaga game in its entirety. Honestly I don't pay any attention to college hoops until the tournament; until then I have no idea who the players are except for standout prospects like Zion Williamson who dominate news cycles. But 'SC looks pretty athletic and like I said a few days ago, having superior talent always helps in sports. Except for John Calipari, who is the GOAT recruiter, but should have several titles by now if he was a better ball coach.
Zags are just two wins away from hoops immortality. They've defeated all but one opponent by double digits this season (29 out of 30 wins). Computer models give them approx. even odds to win the tourney.Domination from the getgo.
Zags shot around 40%, but were up comfortably the whole way.
If UCLA wins the championship it will be epic. Juzang and Campbell would have to be legendary great. Impossible, certainly not, but getting past the Zags would IMO require the Zags "not showing up," something they don't seem to be at all prone to this season. I think Baylor will dispense with Houston. IMO UCLA wouldn't get past Baylor without playing better than they did against Michigan. I think the best game of the Final Four is going to be the Zags vs Baylor in the Championship Game. Of course, I favor the Zags in that. I thought USC would be a test for them, little did I know.Psshhh no way. UCLA got this 🤨
😂😂😂
Baylor and Gonzaga were the best two teams all season, and had a match-up scheduled months ago that was canceled by Covid-19. Whatever happens today, it'll be West vs. Texas, which is a refreshing change for college hoops. Anything can happen in one game, so Let's go Zags! Both games are on CBS OTA.If UCLA wins the championship it will be epic. Juzang and Campbell would have to be legendary great. Mick Cronin's post game interviews were outstanding. Evidently UCLA is going to have an great program going forward! Can't believe they pushed them that hard. Fucking outstanding.
I agree with Jay Bilas, that was one of the great college hoops games of all time. As good as Gonzaga is, UCLA didn't appear to have a talent deficit. It was basically a couple plays that decided the outcome. Having watched just a few minutes of Baylor's last two games, it looked like they can lock down any team in the country. It'll be interesting to see how Mark Few's Bulldogs will deal with that. Rooting for Gonzaga, but I'd take Baylor +4.5 (or even straight up money line) if I was at a sportsbook.Wow that was an amazing game.
