I'm a true 24 fan, and that's the problem. The show just doesn't have the feel of 24 as I remember it, and I don't get excited as I used to. I used to get excited on Sundays because I'd only have 1 more day to wait for 24. Now on Monday I'm just like .... "well there's nothing else on" so I watch it.

But from now on, I'm going to not worry about it.

And any TRUE 24 fan would admit that this season is lame compared to any other season.

Lame? Yea...it doesn't have the same "edge" as previous seasons. I'm still not going to "not watch it" because the plot/story lines are all predictable. I will say though, Silver Spoons boy is a bad idea.

Yah where the hell did he come from? He was some over the top computer guy, then next scene he's out in the field? Give me a break ... :roll:

The show just does not get me excited. And it's not that I'm never going to watch it again. I'm just not going to watch it every monday at 9pm and sit in front of the TV for an hour. I'm going to watch the rest of the season once it finishes airing, so that I can just watch it all in 1 or 2 sittings instead of every week for 1 hour.

Well he was introduced as "Director of Field Ops", was not a computer guy in anyway. Bleh. Jack just needs to get back to killing people. His kill count this season is what, 8 guys I think? (Bite guy in neck, Curtis, 2 guys in the apt raid for the nuke, guy in Russian basement, then 3 during the ensuing attack on him in the basement?)

I also hate how Palmer was such a pussy last season. Any ex-Marine isn't that big a pussy. Especially this season too.

Bah, just wait for Heroes to come back from hiatus and you shall be filled with the glee of a man who stumbled upon a room of a thousand bountiful virgins calling his name in 'enthusiastic' ways. Yes, it's that good.

Although, I've been tempted to start watching 24, but I'd need to go back and watch everything else or I'd feel like I'm missing something, even if you don't need to watch the first 5 seasons.
