I'm still getting a trickling of older units showing up on my main machine too.
Maybe they are re-issuing units that were processed, but didn't have a wingman?

Perhaps for ones that didn't have a wingman at all. Unfortunately, I have 15 WUs that are now invalid because I had wingmen that either aborted, errored out, or timed out.

As for me, I decided not to abort anything. For what I see it should process those WUs within several hours from now.
I do have a couple of machines that may take longer processing those last WUs.

my production was lower on boincstats today...i guess it has to do with these 1.0 WUs that I processed...perhaps the wingman left me.

Fortunately, since at least noon, all WUs were 1.07.

The 1.00 WUs are taking a long time to validate too. You might see a day of boosted production

I decided to do it the hard way and suspend all 1.00 tasks that aren't finished yet by my wingmen

Once all my unsuspended tasks are done in a few days, I'll take a look at those tasks again

Thanks!

Interesting ... I just noticed I got some Biomedical Genome Correlations 1.00 WUs.
I had screened my machines and all had already flushed out all non-1.07 WUs...are they pushing out more pre 1.07 stuff?

I did double check my settings ... I set it at least 2 - 3 days ago.

on the other hand, many of my pending v1.00 tasks continue to get validated. just to give you an idea, ~6 hours ago i had 345 pending, 842 valid, 22 invalid, and 19 errors. currently i have 459 pending, 883 valid, 22 invalid, and 19 errors...and yes, these are all v1.00 tasks, the most recent of which was validated 4 Nov. 2011, 12:54:38 UTC. just wanted to show that over the past 6 hours or so, some of my pending v1.00 tasks have continued to validate, and i haven't picked up any invalids or errors.
update:

its been 2 days since i posted this, and i still only have 22 invalids ad 19 errors, but i'm up to 507 pendings and 1436 valids. the last of the v1.00 tasks on my machine have long since crunched and returned to the server, so i have nothing but v1.07 tasks in the queue right now. i unfortunately cannot confirm whether there are any v1.00 tasks in my heap of 507 pending tasks b/c the server is just too damn slow to allow me to check it in any reasonable amount of time.

I have 4 1.00's on my main rig. I noticed some 1.01'son my linux boxes too. Maybe they are slipping them in for all the ones that were aborted by users?

I think so which is much nicer of them than invalidating good results.

yeah, I opened up my preferences so I could get any wu's available and got some 1.00 wu's as well. These were third fourth and fifth sends from the server. So it looks like they are trying to validate older wu's that are still waiting for wingmen.

ok, i just realized that i can distinguish between the 4 different types of tasks while sifting through my tasks stats page. i feel like an idiot for not realizing this before, considering SETI@Home's task stats page is set up the same way. at any rate, i've filtered out everything but the v1.00 tasks (biomedical genome tasks), and as of now i have 1229 valids, and i have 172 pending v1.00's left. i will keep an eye on this and see if anything changes.

update:

ok, good news - overnight, 8 more v1.00 biomedical genome correlations tasks validated. the number of invalid v1.00 tasks is still at 22, and the number of v1.00 errors is still at 19. i should also note that these 22 invalids and 19 errors are all v1.00 biomedical genome correlations tasks, not v1.07 tasks. hopefully the powers that be will continue to "sneak" 3rd, 4th, or 5th instances of the 164 pending v1.00 tasks i have left so they can get validated and earn credit. i'll continue to monitor my pending v1.00 tasks and let you all know whether these tasks continue to validate, or start throwing some errors.

should I be worried that when I get a BioMedical Genome Correlation 1.00 WU, the progress indicator stays at 0%, even though the time Elapsed/Remaining counters go about their usual counting?

I've got 2/4 threads showing this behaviour at the moment, and I noticed it earlier as well.

The progress bar for BioMedical Genome Correlation 1.00 WUs wasn't enabled so that's normal behaviour. It goes from 0% to 100% once the WU finishes.
