Seriously, why would you want to eat this trash? I would hardly call this "food".

Have you tried it personally? If not, how can you make this determination?

food (fud) (Hey, my cats spell it "fud" too!)
n.

1. Material, usually of plant or animal origin, that contains or consists of essential body nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals, and is ingested and assimilated by an organism to produce energy, stimulate growth, and maintain life.
2. A specified kind of nourishment: breakfast food; plant food.
3. Nourishment eaten in solid form: food and drink.
4. Something that nourishes or sustains in a way suggestive of physical nourishment: food for thought; food for the soul.

I think it qualifies under the first three definitions. So does ice cream, cheese, dog food and doughnuts. Apparently you have a "higher definition" of what food is, and bully for you...but that's not the actual definition of food. Why not let people eat whatever they want to for sustenance?

By the way, I popped into a Safeway to deposit some checks into my Wells Fargo account tonight, and I swung by the frozen food isle. The 32-ounce Chicken Enchiladas were $4.99 if you had one of those Safeway cards, otherwise they were $6.29. This is why I hate Safeway...at any given time 50% of the store is on sale, but only if you have one of those stupid club cards. That's why I never shop there, or at Albertson's either. I refuse to do the special cards that allow them to track your purchases. Besides, even with the cards most things are still cheaper at WinCo or other local stores.

Banquet meals are also pretty well priced, not for the healthy lifestyler of course.
Two words... HOT POCKET!

I had a Totino's three-cheese pizza to myself a few hours ago. It came out 15 minutes ago and IT BUUUUUURNNNS!

Ok, I gotta admit it: I laughed out loud at this one a minute ago here at work. Cracked right up.

Hot Pocket time saving instructions!

1) Unwrap Hot Pocket.

2) Drop directly in toilet.

And this one is just priceless...I eat Hot Pockets pretty frequently at work for lunch and my coworkers always make jokes like that about them (not true in my case, go figure). Had to forward this one to several friends here.

Yeah they're $4.99 now.
It's still a lot cheaper than the majority of the frozen entrees per ounce though.

BTW, I don't mind the clubcard thing at all. You don't have to carry anything with you, just give them your phone number, or use a friend's phone number that you know has the card.

If that one's new to you, you haven't seen Jim Gaffigan. Search for him + "hot pocket" on youtube.
