Couldn't get online earlier. XP (Home SP3) showed limited or no connectivity.
Booted to Vista (Home Premium SP1), same problem.
Couldn't reach the router.
Was assuming a hardware problem, but decided to boot from an Ubuntu Live CD, and all was fine. Typing this on it.
Booting to either of the Windows partitions the problem reoccurs.
Had updated the BIOS earlier. Have now reverted to the previous one and defaulted the settings - no joy.
Windows says it can not get an IP address, even when I select repair.
What could nix XP and Vista simultaneously, but not Ubuntu?
Thanks.
