No Signal From PC HELP

So, after I installed a GTX 650 on my friends machine one day and he decides to be the tech wiz he is and bend the pins on his Athlon II PGA. So, i ordered him a cheap Sempron CPU and when I install it still sends no signal from his computer to monitor. I have no idea on how to fix it. Help would be wonderful.

Is the connection to the monitor through the GPU or the mobo? Try switching that up and see if it's the CPU or the GPU which is malfunctioning.

I tried using the GPU and the mobo connection. Still nothing.

Okay, see if it's a monitor issue. Grab an extra monitor (from your place or something) and maybe some extra cables so you can test that.

I tested that too. I tested a lot of the basics. All the way to changing out his new PSU with his old PSU

Okay, then I'm at a loss. You'll need the advice of someone with more expertise than me.

Just to establish what's happening, does that PC not send any visual signal at all? And another PC is able to, through the same cable and to the same monitor?

so if you replaced the CPU with a Sempron, have you reset the CMOS? I would think the BIOS is still thinking it's the original Athlon II chip, and because it's not, it may have a hard time booting?

Just a thought. Always smart to reset the BIOS/CMOS when changing CPU's

Yeah I would definitely do this if you haven't.

Have you tried straightening the pins on the Athlon?

Does the current motherboard support the latest Sempron? If so, do you have the correct BIOS?

A very fine mechanical pencil with the lead removed is often very useful in trying to do this.
