No sound from ProMedia 5.1 Center Channel

The speaker works when I use the Audigy Mixer test button, but not during any DVDs or music or anything else. Any suggestions?

two things. One, make sure that the audio you are trying to listen to actually has 5.1 output, and is set to be 5.1. Some are set in surround or something less for standard non 5.1 users. Second, go into the control panel and select your speaker setup. Check to make sure that the speakers are assigned by windows as 5.1 speakers.

Is the centre channel plugged in?

Yep, I have checked both of those. I have used DVDs which and still no sound comes from the center channel.
