No video output after transportation

First, my specs:

OS: Windows 7 Professional (clean installed within a week ago)
Mobo: Asus P5B-E
Processor: Core 2 Duo e6600
GPU: XFX ATI HD4850 512mb
HDD : western digital 320gb, can't remember the model name
PS: Corsair HX520W
RAM: 2x1GB OCZ 800mhz, can't remember the model name
Monitor: Dell 2007wfp

I moved back into my college dorm today and now my desktop is no longer functioning properly. Everything was working perfectly at home last night, but now when I turn it on, there's no output to the monitor. I've tested the monitor with another computer and it's working perfectly. PSU, CPU, GPU, and exhaust fans all are spinning up. HDD appears to be spinning as well. I've checked and reseated all internal plugs and disconnected all external plugs except for the essentials. When I plug in my wired mouse, its red led does not turn on. I would normally assume this is just a graphics card problem, but I am unsure if the compy is even booting into windows. I have it password protected, so its not going to make any sounds until I log in -- otherwise I would test it with speakers to check if its booting fully. Any ideas other than to just start swapping out parts?

Are you getting hard disk activity like windows is booting?

Try a different monitor.

if you have a video card, try reseating it. It may have been jarred loose during the move.

another thing to look at is if you possibly have the video cable plugged into the wrong port on the monitor. when you boot your pc, there should be a button on the monitor that handles video output, toggle between those two to see if this is the issue.
