no/yes intel hd graphics?

Im building an HTPC for a friend and i just realized this itx mobo doesn't have HDMI. Sigh! Then i also realize that the Intel Celeron G1610 does not seem to have HD graphics or does it? Im such idiot...(

Should I change mobo to BIOSTAR TH61 ITX LGA 1155 Intel H61 HDMI USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS. This comes with hdmi and USB 3.0. This is a low budget build.

If Celeron G1610 IB doesn't have built in graphics, then i need a low profile video card that has HDMI connector. Did i just end up paying more?

I think it has like a Intel HD2500 (with afew features turned off, cuz its a celeron).
This means no Blu-ray 3D dvd watching though (disabled in lower models).

It does have HD graphics. If you can exchange the mobo, you're probably settled, although I don't know the significance of "Intel® Clear Video HD Technology" missing from your Celeron, because that technology supposedly "delivers High Definition quality playback" which you probably want. Maybe best to exchange both mobo and CPU.

Yeah, which is why you should always do thorough research on stuff before making a purchase...

Anyways, a low end low profile video card that will be quite a bit faster than integrated video can be found for like $10-25AR all the time so....its not the end of the world.

Clear video HD tech is stuff like edge enhancement and noise reduction. Stuff you generally have turned off with a HTPC anyways. The Celeron will be fine when paired with a motherboard with HDMI. Enjoy.

Either change mobo with one with HDMI. or maybe use a DVI to HDMI converter. Else its perfectly fine.

From ARK Intel, Intel Celeron G1610 does come with HD Graphics. If it is connected to a monitor, make do with a DVI to HDMI converter. If it is connected to a TV, do the same with the inclusion of an 3.5mm end to end audio cable. Its less than ideal but it should do.

Thanks all, i've decide to go with a dual core trinity apu with asrock mobo, total cost roughly 20 dollars more, but has all the goodie for htpc.

If this is for an HTPC then I would recommend an AMD APU. Just for the better video play back and features. Especially if its going to be used for Blu-ray.

Edit, seems I was a late by 1 minute. Good choice, my cousin has an A8 and loves it's video playback ability.
