noctua NF-A15 as case fan?

so my front 120mm fan is broken and i decided to not get a replacement until i notice the gpu fan going max speed and the front cage grills start to get really hot to the point that my fingers cant hold it longer than 10 seconds.

so i decided to finally buy cage fans and was wondering if this fan NF-A15 is suitable as a intake case fan?

i have cm gladiator as a case with 120mm fan at the side for intake air while top 120mm fan for outake air, and rear 120mm fan for out take

What kind of case are you using?

The NF-A15 is a great fan, but it's expensive, and PWM, and so that usually means it's most cost effective to put it on a radiator or a heatsink. That's not to say you can't but I'd imagine you could find decent case fans for much less.

Also, be careful, the NF-A15 uses 120mm mounting holes, but it is a 140mm fan.

In my Define R5 I'm using three NF-A14s as intake and they are amazing.

However, in your case, you need either 120mm fans or the NF-A15, which will do the job well but is more suitable for the coolers it comes with. For your cases front intake I would recommend the NF-S12A. Noctua claims it is their best 'case airflow' 120mm fan.

If you really want to go crazy with your cooling you could get two NF-A14s for your side panel mounts. :whiste:
