I'm currently using a realtek codec for my onboard motherboard sound (rig in sig). It has a "noise suppression" feature which I didn't know about ahad of time but now I can't live without. Is this a common feature for current (NF4 ultra) motherboards or high-end sound cards (XFi, etc)?
I talk a ton with my PC microphone, can't get rid of the ambient noise, and have been delaying upgrading because I wasn't sure if I could get a suitable replacement. So, any ideas?
